Fall can be the coziest season of the year. Watching classic fall movies with warm pumpkin spice lattes and fuzzy socks makes the season even more appealing. Countryliving lists the following movies as the best. The below titles may be some of the best movies to snuggle up on the couch and watch with family and friends.

Starting off with the one and only Hocus Pocus, the 1993 classic stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimy. Much has changed in New England since the community persecuted the Sanderson sisters as witches. Centuries later a new member of the community accidentally resurrected the sisters who had to find a way to live their new lives in the world that they used to call home. Many people enjoy this Halloween thriller because of its amusing comedic relief.

Disney’s Coco proves to be another great classic. Centering around the Mexican holiday The Day of the Dead, Coco presents an interesting interpretation on Mexican culture pertaining to the life after death. The main character, Miguel, ventures off to the “other side” to find answers to his family's mysterious hate for music. After the adventurous trip on the other side, Miguel realizes that his family misunderstood what happened to his ancestors' history. The delightful Disney movie always keeps people waiting for more of the captivating story.

Lastly, the wonderful Fantastic Mr. Fox. Wes Anderson’s stop motion has famous voices like George Clooney, Meryl Streep and Bill Murray. This adaptation of Ronald Dahl’s novel Fantastic Mr. Fox, tells a story of a fox who returns back to his life of crime after being clean for 12 years. This movie shows how animals survive and find food in order to hibernate.

All of these classics should be watched in the cozy season of fall. In the coming months, try to find time to grab a warm blanket and a hot cup of apple cider, while enjoying these fun movies with family and friends.
