As many people know, the Xbox Series X came out on November 12th of this year, priced at around $500. People all over the world have been scrambling to get their hands on it, and many have been succeeding.

A new game that came out on November 10th, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, has been played all over the world and occupies the spot as the twelfth major installment in its series, Assassin’s Creed. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla follows a character named Evior, who can be played as either a boy or a girl. Evior wants to avenge the death of her parents and do something that her father never achieved. She leads her crew on raids across New England and follows her brother on the journey of a lifetime. On the new Xbox Series X, the graphics of Evior and her clan, as well as the other characters in the series, look much more detailed and realistic. The frame rate has also been improved to be considerably faster, as stated on Laptop, a console-reviewing website.

Ubisoft also created another game that came out in late October called Watch Dogs: Legion. The game does not follow one specific character. Instead, it gives players the opportunity to play as multiple different people. IGN described the game, saying it “centers around the DedSec hacker/vigilante group, this time serving as a resistance movement against a techno-fascist police state that’s clamped down on Britain’s freedom after a major terrorist attack (blamed on DedSec).” On the Xbox Series X, the game both improved graphics on the environments and loads faster. Watch Dogs requires many character models to be loaded, and if it gets played on the new console, it will be a lot faster than on the older version.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has built up a lot of hype after the release of its predecessor, Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar San Diego designed the phenomenal game that serves as a prequel to the first Red Dead game. The game starts off showing a man named Arthur Morgan and his gang and follows them as they try to find a new home after a failed attempt at robbing a bank in a large town named Blackwater. Morgan deals with romance, betrayal, hope, and devastating news throughout the game. According to GameStop, the game had received an amazing 4.6 out of five stars from consumers. Red Dead Redemption 2 already had amazing graphics and visuals, but the Xbox Series X only makes it the graphics sharper.

Last but not least, Far Cry New Dawn came out in 2019, and had the Far Cry players surprised with its release. The game follows the Captain, as he travels through Hope County, Montana, seventeen years after a nuclear doomsday destroyed their land, killed hundreds, and forced the surviving people underground. But finally the time has come to face their enemies. The Highwaymen want to “bleed the country dry,” as it says on Ubisoft’s official website. This game, like all of the others listed above, can be played on all Xbox consoles.

With the release of the new Xbox Series X, these games prove to be a few of the most iconic games that have amazing graphics and visuals. They all have action packed plots, amazing characters, and unique qualities specific for each game. These can all be bought from GameStop, or on the online store. As for the Xbox Series X, people have been scrambling to get their hands on it, but Target, Best Buy, and Walmart may have a few in stock — for now.
