Everyone falls under a category, whether extrovert, introvert or the less commonly known ambivert. Defined by Dictionary, extroverts include those who thrive in dynamic environments and seek social engagement-- in simpler terms: someone who thrives on social interaction. The opposite of an extrovert being an introvert, introverted people can be characterized by their more solitary nature. Introverts-- according to Dictionary-- primarily tend to be people who prefer calm environments and limits their social engagement. Ambiverts exist as a middle ground between extroverts and introverts; their tendencies tend to fluctuate as their mood changes. While research into each category may be necessary, this quick quiz can help indicate whether you fall under the extrovert or introvert category.

To find out if you may be an extrovert or introvert, tally your answers:

Mostly A’s- You may be an extrovert

As someone who prefers to hang out with mostly friends, you may consider yourself extroverted to a certain extent. You also may lean more towards introverted tendencies compared to other extroverts.

Mostly B’s- You may be an introvert

You probably spend a lot of time on your phone and, while you don’t hate hanging out with others, you become in need of a break after socializing. If you do meet with other people, it typically includes close friends.

Mostly C’s- Definitely an extrovert

Socializing with friends, meeting new people, and being in action has great importance to you. Your love of talking may get you in trouble from time to time, but you probably believe it to be trivial in the long run.

Mostly D’s- Definitely an introvert

You do not like talking to people and prefer to stay to yourself. You probably choose to focus on your studies or read books rather than communicating with others.
